The Kunstmuseum Liechtenstein houses an impressive collection of modern and contemporary art in a striking black basalt building along the pedestrian-friendly city center. Peter’s Fish Bar, an unassuming stand, is famously ranked among the world’s best fish and chips. Vaduz’s compact, walkable core makes it easy to combine the castle views, the art museum, and the national postage stamp museum, a nod to Liechtenstein’s philatelic fame, in a single short visit. Its small size only adds to its charm as a curiosity stop in the heart of the Alps.
