What to eat to be happy!

The answer to the question about food that brings happiness comes from a study published a few years ago, which was based on data from monitoring more than 12,000 people in Australia, where among the many questions they were asked how many servings of fruit per day they also consumed servings of vegetables. They then tracked the difference in respondents' happiness scores today according to their reported fruit and vegetable consumption in the previous two years.

I must say that this is a sample of people who were generally very happy with their lives. On the happiness scale, 10 was the highest you could answer, and the group average was 7.9. However, people who ate enough fruit and vegetables appeared to be up to a quarter of a point happier than people who didn't eat any fruit and vegetables.
